Countdown to 2010 Race Season Opener

This spring has been busy for us in preparation for the 2010 season. A lot of time has been spent in the shop, testing, and practicing; all in preparation for this coming weekend, June 26-27 at Six Flags Darien Lake Theme Park and Resort for Round 1 of the Camoplast/EWA Eastern Watercross Tour.

This year's opening round will be a 2-day race program with qualifying all day Saturday and Finals on Sunday. With everyone racing to make the big show on Sunday, you can expect the excitement levels to be up all weekend long.

Returning in Semi-Pro for 2010, Matt Schebaum #99 is chasing the Semi-Pro Oval Points Championship and will be in the Semi-Pro 600 & 800 Oval classes. The Semi-Pro oval class is considered to be one of the most competitive so be sure to follow it.

Luke Janiszewski, who is debuting the #14 this season, will be returning to the Pro 600 Oval and Pro 600 Drag classes. With many of last year's top Pros moved on or retired, and a lot of new guys moving up, Luke is hoping to take hold and establish a name for Team Highside in the Pro division.

You can stay up to date on everything Team Highside this season online here and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/teamhighside. We will be posting photos, news, and results as they happen from all the races and events all season long!

See you at the races...
